The most simple message of all!

Can’t wait for tomorrow! I’m sitting at my kitchen table with my two boys while mommy went away with her girlfriends for a night. As I just sit here and watch my boys eat lunch my heart is melting with love for them. I would be lost without them, my heart would break if they chose to not want me in their life. I can’t help but think of how much God loves me and you…I know it’s a simple thought but I have a question for you…in the midst of religion and the complexity of life have you forgotten the greatest message of all? The simple but amazing message that GOD IS CRAZY ABOUT YOU!  Just stop for a minute and allow his love to penetrate your heart….seriously…STOP RIGHT NOW…you’re not to busy! Allow his love to consume you! Just meditate on the fact that the creator of the universe has never let you go, even right now you can feel his presence, that’s awesome!

Now in response to who he is and what he has done for you will you love him back? Will you be a child that makes the heart of your heavenly father melt or break?

    HI Josh
    I have enjoyed reading some of your post. I am Dan Kings aunt in Phoenix. This post about your watching your sons and your heart melting if they chose to not have you in their lives.. that was awesome. I really enjoyed your process of bringing it around to God.
    You know, scripture tell us we love because HE first loved us. Now I couple that with what you wrote and I had a thought. You know it is said that if you want to know how a man will treat his wife, look at how his father treated his mother. (while not always true, some men break the cycle of abuse) BUT never mind overall that is a true statement… why? because we look to our parents to teach us to love one another. SOOO within that.. if a father looks to the Father to teach him to love what a gift he is passing on to his sons…
    Keep up the good work we are diligently praying for you all at Next Level!
